It's a ..... ??

We had our 16 week ultrasound at Mt. Sinai. Apparently they do ultrasounds every appointment and I am so happy about that. Well the nurse was so nice, and she asked "so you guys want to know" and of course we both said yes like a couple of lost puppies. She has no idea at this point that we've been daydreaming of this appointment since 4 weeks earlier, hoping to be able to tell the gender at 16 weeks.

Well before she even did any of her measurements, she zoomed in on the nether region and there was nothing there!! Aaaaah (scream), I thought in my mind it's a girl!!! I'm pretty sure I did scream it out loud as well. I think at one point I said "look look there's nothing there, just lips!".

That's right, it's a GIRL!!! Our little girl! I am overly excited now because all I can think about is what is she going to look like, what will her personality be like, how will she be with our animals etc etc.

Anyways, to say the least...I am over the moon :)
